A native of Connecticut, Brother Bednarczyk’s early education was in Stonehill College and Fordham University. His prior ministries include 12 years of secondary education in Maryland. In 1987, he was appointed Assistant Headmaster and Director of Student Life at Notre Dame International School in Rome, Italy. For nine years he was Vocations Director for the Brothers of Holy Cross, Eastern Province. Brother Paul was also a member of his Provincial Council where he served one term as Director of Formation. In 2002 he was promoted to his present position as Executive Director of the National Religious Vocation Conference. He has written a number of articles on religious life and is regularly invited to speak on the topic of vocation ministry.
